Keith offered a service far beyond his price point and I personally would of paid any amount for the love and care he showed myself and father that he cared for. This business turned what could of been the saddest/scary time into a memory that I will treasure forever, making death not scary but a beautiful peaceful experience. If you're looking for a funeral director then you can stop looking now because you've found the best! My Mum had passed away and I didn't know where to start in arranging a funeral, but from the first anxious phone call I made and meeting Keith I was immediately put at ease and we chatted about what we would like for Mum. Nothing was too much trouble, no question was a bother and every word was listened to with respect and understanding. Keith and Jenny had as much care for us as a family as they did for Mum and it made such a diffference during this sad time. Keith even went as far as making sure we'd locked the house securely before we set off to the church. Keith and Jenny helped us arrange what, for us, was the lovliest send off for Mum and we couldn't have asked for more. If anyone is looking for compassion and dignity when arranging a funeral I can genuinely recommend Saint and Forster. The accent is on listening to the family, and creating an personal and bespoke service. He stressed that there is no 'right' way or time to express our feelings. Keith listened, interpreted our ideas, and came up with some very individual suggestions that summed up my husband; the ethical willow coffin and the motorbike hearse were perfect. The suggestion of a non-denominational celebrant to conduct the service was welcome, and we were so pleased with Andy, who Keith recommended to us. His ideas, suggestions and contacts were so right which resulted in a bespoke service and celebration of mum’s life. The day could not have gone better. Keith and Jen are warm, genuine people who are definitely in the right profession. They made us feel welcome, at ease, and listened to from the very first meeting. It feels a little strange writing a review for a funeral director but we were so impressed with the integrity and professionalism shown to us by the team at Saint & Forster that we feel it right that we share our experience. Keith and Jen. What can I say about Saint and Foster, and not forgetting John and Tony . My brother and i lost our parents within 7 weeks of each other. Keith gave encouragement, advice and support when we needed it the most. He held me up and guided me when I thought I could not go on. These guys are truly gods angels. Nothing was too much trouble. To be honest there are not enough words that can describe Keith & Jenny, apart from, professional, kind, caring, understanding, respectful, dignified and genuine. My wife passed away recently and we could not have found the perfect man to arrange her funeral. Keith is polite, well mannered and conscientious, and goes above and beyond to help, He knows everything there is to know, he is a lovely lovely man and has genuine feelings during difficult times for the family, you would not receive this kind of service from the bigger funeral companies, I assure you. They were so helpful from the first call to the last. When they came to collect my dad from home, they did it with such respect and dignity. Kieth handled both our parents funerals in the most respectful way doing what he could to make the experience as comfortable and respectful as possible. Couldn't have asked for a better service than the one I received from Keith and Jenny. Once Keith knew I had never organised a funeral before he explained everything and went through all my options in great detail. He was there whenever I needed any help and even after everything was over he still takes time to contact me with help and advice and is always saying if there's anything we need to just ring him. There really is nothing that's a hassle for him. A genuinely nice man and nice team that really do care about their customers. I hope I don't have to deal with Keith and Jenny anytime too soon for obvious reasons however if the time ever comes where I have to arrange a funeral again I wouldn't even think of going to anybody else. In October of this year my beloved sister died and I began my search for a funeral director. Never having needed, up until then, to look for one here in Darlington, I researched on the net. The first couple were interesting and okay and then I happened upon the website of Saint and Forster. I read words such 'call us any time, day or night' and 'the people who are there and the words that are said: it is about love not the amount of money that is spent.' As I browsed further, I just knew in my heart that I had found the right people for my sleeping sister and for me. Something clicked and it was as though a bright light had suddenly come through the curtains! Prior to visiting, I felt nervous and I wasn't sure how I'd feel but as soon as we walked through the door, we were made so comfortable and put at our ease. It felt as though we were visiting friends! It really is true that from that day right up to today, when I collected my sister's ashes, our family has been helped in so many ways, from being empathetically advised about flowers and caskets to being given time to think about a particular choice without any pressure. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Keith and Jenny: they are kind and caring human beings and I am so thankful I discovered their website that day.

We went to Keith and Jenny to arrange my nana's funeral. We had previously used their services for my grandad and I knew what wonderful, empathic people they are. Outstanding. If you can find a funeral director as good as Saint and Forster, who will gently help you create a personal funeral that is perfect for your family and then a) answer the phone at 9pm the night before the funeral b) allow you to make significant changes to the agreed format (I was suddenly able to attend my father's funeral by racing up from London) and then still go on to produce a wonderful ceremony good luck to you. I'll save you the time searching though, you won't find anybody as good. Thank you Keith and Jen, I will always be grateful as you helped me get right the one event that I needed to get absolutely right .

Recently needed the services of a funeral director which can never be a happy time - a chore to say the least. We tried these based on an indirect recommend and can only be thankful we found them.
