Some families prefer not to have floral tributes at a funeral. They may feel strongly about the financial or environmental impact of floral displays which only last for a few days and are then disposed of. If you are looking for an alternative to floral tributes, but would like something more personal, and with more visual impact than a collection for charity taken at the funeral, then you might like to conside A Giving Tribute .
A Giving Tribute is a very new concept and Saint and Forster currently operate as their sole agents in the Darlington area. Family and friends are given the necessary information to log on to the website and create a tribute card for the deceased containing words and pictures. These can use stock pictures and text available on the website or can be completely personalised using your own words and pictures. When you create your card you will also be invited to make a donation to a charity chosen by the next of kin. 100% of the money you donate goes to the charity.
The cards are displayed at the funeral on an attractive and waterproof tribleau. The central card on each tribleau gives information about the chosen charity. If your card is created after the funeral has taken place then it is sent directly to the next of kin. Four weeks after the funeral, leaving plenty of time for tribute cards to arrive, the cards are collected into a beautiful presentation book for the family to keep as a memorial and heirloom. If you would like any more information about A Giving Tribute, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will answer any questions you might have.
